A rider named Stanley asked us that, straight up. Fair question. We've built boards in our own Pennsylvania factory since day one, and we still do: every board outside the Happy Hour Series is made in the USA.
But we kept hearing from riders who wanted in on the Gilson crew and needed a more accessible price point. We work to make our US builds as affordable as possible, and they still don't fit every budget.
So we built a relationship with a partner factory in Taiwan to make the Happy Hour Series. Solid rides at our most economical prices, and we've been stoked with the results.

Where are Happy Hour boards made?
With our partner factory in Taiwan. We designed the boards, built the relationship, and have been stoked with the results: solid rides at our most economical prices.
Are your other boards still made in America?
Yes. Every board that's not in the Happy Hour Series is built start to finish in our own Pennsylvania factory, same as always.
Why not just make everything in PA?
We work to keep our US builds as affordable as possible while staying committed to top quality materials and people, but they don't fit every budget. Happy Hour exists so more riders can join the crew.
What's the difference between the three?
Mostly the art and the vibe. All three are built to be dependable everyday boards. Pick the graphic you'll be proudest to carry into the lift line, and check each product page for sizes and specs.
