When PRK and GILSON first sat down together, before we talked about designs, materials, or even snowboards, we agreed on one thing.
Both existing somewhere at the intersection of art and snow, we found ourselves drawn to ancient symbols and the ways people have used art to leave pieces of themselves behind for thousands of years. SÉMA was born from that feeling.
Not because the world needed another snowboard, but because we had the opportunity to make something that had never existed before. Something that belonged to neither of us entirely, but couldn’t have existed without both of us.
For a little while, something that was once nothing becomes ours to leave behind.
