CLEW Independence Bindings
Men's Snowboard Binding
The new CLEW Independence is the lightest hybrid step-in binding CLEW has built. It keeps the feel of a classic two-strap binding and adds step-in and step-out entry, so you can lock in standing up, in under two seconds, with any softboot you already own.
- Any boot, any board: No special boots needed. Mounts to 4x4, 4x2, Channel and 3D patterns (3D disc sold separately).
- Fast entry and exit: No re-ratcheting after every lift and no sitting down. The toe strap stays set while three sintered locking teeth click the highback into place, about 1.9 seconds to lock in.
- Lighter and stronger: 989 g per binding in size M. New geometry and materials make it 20% lighter and 15% stronger than CLEW's first-generation binding.
- Two-strap feel, more control: 2.5Β° of built-in base canting and redesigned straps give a natural stance and send your input straight to the edge.
- Tool-free setup: A three-level entry system and tool-free strap adjustments for quick setup in any conditions.
- Made in Germany: Designed, engineered and built in-house by CLEW, with a 2-year full warranty on every component.
