Yes, the 130 Youth fits bigger boots than the 139. It runs a wider waist.
A flat base keeps the edge in full contact with the snow for locked-in grip. Our 3D Edge lifts the steel edge a hair above the snow, for a looser, more forgiving, catch-free feel that rides a little surfier. On models that offer both, the price is the same and you pick at checkout.
| Model | Base |
|---|---|
| Undead, Homebrew, Bounty Hunter | Flat or 3D Edge (your pick) |
| Duel, Fly | 3D Edge |
| JCK | Flat |
| Happy Hour Series | Flat |
| Odyssey skis | 3D Edge tapering in towards the nose and tail, flat underfoot |
| Fusion skis | Flat |

I love this board and buttery flow of the 3D base makes all the difference. I have been out for about 25 years and chose Gilson and have no regrets
After years of riding all types of boards, my go-to, fun day on the hill board is my Gilson. The flex and butter pad make it the most fun board in my quiver.
I'm an intermediate snowboarder, but I picked this board up before last season! I love it!
The flexibility is great and I have no complaints. Cant wait for this upcoming season!
The board is everything I expected. The custom graphics to the great handling on the mountain. It’s the 3rd board I’ve purchased from you guys. Also great customer service. The biggest thing is that it’s made in the 🇺🇸!! Happy trails
Love these boards! Bought the Alpine Roamer for myself and loved it so much my wife had to get one. She loves the Homebrew feel and design!
I got 2 boards for my kids. They love them.
Great board!!!
After much research I decided to go with gilson for my first board. They did not disappoint and I have been thrilled with my purchase. Not only do I have one of the best looking boards on the mountain but the tech involved in their 3d edge really did help this newb snowboarder catch less unintended edges. I highly recommend this company not only to those new to snow boarding but the experienced as well! Can't wait for my second season to start!
Gilson takes customer service to the next level. Their boards got me out on the slopes 24 times last season when I was thinking about quitting after my first season. The boards ride very well and the graphics are amazing from real artists.
This is by far the coolest board I’ve owned; everything about it is amazing, from the design to how it rides! I get so many compliments during boarding season
