We ordered a custom board for our son for his birthday. We sent Gilson our son's logo which has two different versions of his brand. I asked their designer, Landon, to run with what he thought would look nice. The first proof was perfect and we approved it. Shipping was fast and when our son Alec, opened it, we were all blown away. If you're thinking about a custom board, believe me when I say there's no reason to look anywhere else. ***A really class act on Gilson's part. The company staff all wished my son a happy birthday and signed their names on a piece of extra scrap which was in the packing. Thank you Gilson staff!!!

The guys at Gilson literally got everything back up and running for a custom Fly powder deck and rushed shipping just to get it to me right before a 5ft storm! Board reminds me of surfing growing up in SoCal, super surfy and honestly one of the most fun boards I’ve ever ridden! I got onto my first Gilson from a recommendation from a friend after ripping the rail out of a Burton board. Gilson’s are so durable and fun to ride it’s stupid! My Duel is on its 4th 100 day + season and it’s still going strong! As a guy that rides a lot and has been on a ton of different equipment I can stand behind the fact that I always end up on a Gilson deck for a reason! These boards are the best I’ve found!

I bought 3 Gilson boards last year. I like them that much. The first, I bought just to ride, but the graphics were so sick, I had to get another to hang on the wall. BUT, Gilson has a custom board program. So, I had them make two more custom boards with MY graphics. They didn't make it up on the wall either. They were too much fun riding than just looking at them. I had a great time riding all 3 of them (all different board styles - all mountain, free style, different cambers). I guess they might end up on the wall as art eventually, but probably not. First, the build quality is amazing. I've had Burton, Rossignol, Never Summer and K2 boards. Gilson's boards are every bit is good in terms of quality. Ride style is very different compared to those boards. The edge design on the Gilson board is very specific to allow you to "butter", which is to say not catch an edge when you're doing tricks. The result is the board is surfy, which for me was a new experience. Once I got used to it, it was nothing but fun. I felt on the hard pack I had to work harder to get my turns down, but I could also spin the board more easily. On the softer snow and powder, the surfy feeling was pretty awesome! I highly recommend putting one of Gilson's boards in your rotation. If for no other reason, you will get an endless stream of compliments on the mountain. I have never had so many people compliment my board before. Gilson has, by far, the best graphics of any board I have ever seen.

I recently ordered a pair of one-of-a-kind Gilson Trippy Draws Skis for my daughter's XMAS present. Gilson was terrific in terms of keeping me informed every step of the way from order to production stage to shipping. When my daughter opened the skis, her reaction was priceless: "No way, these are so freaking cool, where did you get these?!!!" She then needed to get boots & bindings and when she dropped the skis off at a local ski shop, ALL of the workers were also freaking out because they had never seen such cool skis. Anyway, now she's had a chance to take them out to the mountain and she absolutely loves how they perform, and she also loves how she gets noticed by other skiers by how cool they look. I highly recommend Gilson for anyone!

I purchased a custom board with Bat Country graphics. Loved my experience with the people at Gilson making the board and all the custom touches they put into its production. Absolutly love the board! Has a fun "surfy" feel and forgiving at high speeds. Took a little getting used to at slow speeds but soo much fun! Highly recommend giving this a ride!!!

Everyone at the Gilson group was extremely kind and easy-going. I had a blast snowboarding with this group. The Gilson Team was well organized, planning several events for us to eat and socialize with others, and even allowed us to use some of their new boards, which I loved their new duals with flex in the middle. I bought a Gilson snowboard for my boyfriend for Christmas. Gilson makes custom snowboards, so it takes them about a month to manufacture. This is a small company, and they are amazing when it comes to customer service! I was frustrated with the delays during the holiday season, and they put me at ease. Gilson is pricy, but worth it. We took the board to the slopes the next day and my boyfriend received over 10 compliments! I would absolutely recommend and buy from this company again. My boyfriend hasn’t had a new board in over 15 years, and he loves it!!!!

If you have never ridden a Gilson product then you have never ridden a quality product. Gilson is by far one of the best board I’ve ever rode on and I will definitely be getting another custom board in the future again. I recommend Gilson to everyone. I got a custom Bills mafia board from them that had a small part of the corner unfinished. I took it out for the first time and it peeled up and I was so upset. I contacted them and the fixed it right away. Got me a brand new one within a week! Nick and the rest of the Gilson crew do an amazing job. True American company !!!!

So in 2016, 3 years after I met them on their grassroots tour to get funding, I hit them up about a custom deck. Not only did they honor the discount that had expired, but they invited me down to PA for friendsgiving, house me for three days, and guided me through putting my own deck together. To this day, between my two decks, people are still busting tail to keep up. Great people, great products, and genuine thoughtful servic . I wish I could give them a 10 out of 10!

I had done tons of research on my next board. Decided on a custom Gilson, I have the latest in snow technology and it felt like getting a tattoo done, I love my board. Love the way it turned out. I did my research on the available options out there and really liked the story of the wood shop and boating back ground, the thought and forward thinking of Nick and the Gang. And yes, I called the company phone number and Nick answered. I also exchanged several emails with him in trying to get the correct board. I had a wonderful experience with Gilson they were at montage 2 years ago and they were doing a demo i tested out aboard witch was awesome because when can you try a board before you buy one... anyway i was able to talk to the guys there after some time decided to get a board and the best part ws i was able to customize it. god bless my artist i would say i was difficult but he worked with me and we creating an amazing board that i love! it doesn't matter what you want they will do anything for you!! i got my board and got a personal letter from the guy who made it it was amazing!! i loved working with them!!

These guys are a class act. From their revolutionary designs to the customer interactions they really are the best. When I ordered my special editon board last year I let them know I ordered late and needed it soon. They ended up calling me and letting me know exactly when they started the custom build and when I would have it in hand. It arrived on time and included some of the scrap building material with a note on it. A nice touch I thought. I picked up a park board after getting some good info from a friend of mine and it was a good choice. Their boards are really something else and if you have the chance to demo one take a few runs and enjoy the the ride. Great control and flex, unbeatable rail interaction, and after you get the feel for it the edges are as good as any. Winters here so get your Gilson and if you have a questions give them a call someone will pick up!
